Sky HD imminent

March 7th, 2006 · No Comments

The launch is ‘officially’ imminent. The satellite broadcaster has begun the process of contacting key journalists and opinion formers to pre-book HDTV installations. These are said to be just a couple of weeks away, which puts the likely HD roll-out announcement early April.
In the meantime: The latest tweak to the Sky EPG means that subscribers can now instantly add programmes to their Personal Planner or Sky+ Planner from programme trailers. When a ‘set reminder’ icon appears on selected promos, users can tag the show to appear on their planner, and from there, change it to a recording request if required.
