MJ Acoustics creative team split

Phil Mason, one half of the much lauded UK speaker and brand MJ Acoustics has decided to cease his involvement with the company.
Mason, who has built the brand up with partner John Jefferis over the past five years, says he is leaving to “further other interests that are close to my heart.”
He adds: “I’m very proud to have designed and manufactured with my business partner and friend John Jefferis some of the most respected active subwoofers and speakers available today. I would like to wish John all the success for the future and hope that the company continues to grow as we both originally intended.”
The split comes at a tumultuous time for British specialist , and follows the sale of UK brand REL to distributor Sumiko.
