The Simpsons and 24 are the next to go free online

The evolution of the tellyweb continues. and are the latest hit shows expected to be made available free online, following an announcement that the US Fox network will begin morning-after streaming re-runs. The confirmation comes after the network concluded a complex sweetener deal with its affiliated cable stations that gives them all a slice of any net-generated advertising revenues that result. As much as 60 per cent of the Fox network’s original programming will eventually be available for viewing (but not downloading).
