The first batch of Blu-ray movies have been pushed back to June 25, to better co-ordinate with Stateside hardware launches. The move should surprise no one. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Prez Benjamin Feingold had been maintaining that he would release the nine titles on May 23 regardless of kit delays, but now concedes that it “would be better to coincide with the first commercially available Blu-ray-compatible hardware in an effort to ensure a more coordinated launch.”
