The Incredibles movie premiere

Pixar’s masterful CGI ‘toon (stars pictured above, alongside Pixar supremo John Lasseter and director Brad Bird) has been named DVD of the year at the prestigious US DVD Critics Awards, organized by Home Media Retailing, The Hollywood Reporter and DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group. The title also won best children’s DVD.
Other big winners at the event included Kingdom of Heaven (Fox), for Best Theatrical DVD; Mulan II ( Buena Vista), for Best Nontheatrical DVD; and Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection, (Universal) for Best collection or multi-disc set.
The Best special features award was snapped up by The Sound of Music: 40th Anniversary Edition (20th Century Fox), while Best TV DVD was rescued by : The Complete First Season (Buena Vista). Rhino Entertainment’s Concert for Bangladesh also hit the right note as Best music DVD.
