KEF dealers in World Cup orgy of indulgence

July 4th, 2006 · No Comments

KEF World Cup 2006 visit
The England soccer team may have been unceremoniously dumped out of the 2006 in Germany but not before 9 lucky KEF retailers were invited to sample the World Cup atmosphere for themselves by attending the England team’s Group Stage games.
The self-proclaimed “high performance consumer electronics specialists” took three of its top retailers to each of the three Group B England matches from June 10 through to June 20. Each was given a ‘Prestige’ Hospitality Package with First Class seats and premium services inside and outside the stadium in the local vicinity.
There was also access to the VIP areas inside the stadium or on the stadium premises, VIP stadium entry, and gourmet catering.
Comments from the lucky attendees wranged from “An amazing experience – thanks to KEF”, “Wonderful, brilliant, well organised, well thought out and a trip to remember”, to the more simple “Thank-you KEF, very enjoyable.” Well, it’s nice work if you can get it!

The details of attendees and relevant matches are:
England Vs Paraguay – Frankfurt, Germany: Alex Foxon, KEF Audio (UK) Doug Trybulec, Stratford Hi-Fi Mike Hannawin, Sevenoaks Sound & Vision (Bristol/Plymouth/Exeter/Reading) Jason Budd, Sevenoaks Sound & Vision (Southampton)
England Vs Trinidad & Tobago – Nuremburg: Mark Thompson, KEF Audio (UK) Khalid Rashid, Global Hi-Fi (Newcastle) Richard Burn, Sevenoaks Sound & Vision (Guildford) John Cook, Manders (Grimsby)
