NBC joins YouTube to preview new TV shows

After a well documented spat over copyright infringements, US TV network NBC has decided to exploit the exploding popularity of to promote its Autumn TV schedule. This makes it the first (but certainly not the last) major TV network to embrace the concept of viral video.
As part of a one-year deal, the network will have a branded NBC Channel on the site, which will run segments from the US version of The Office, Saturday Night Live and others. It’s estimated that 70 million video clips are streamed from YouTube daily.
