JVC LCD Clear Motion Drive
JVC is introducing a range of which employ a high-speed 120 frames per second (120Hz refresh) rate, to enhance image clarity in fast motion sequences, into the US market.
Dubbed Clear Motion Drive, the interpolation technology will initially offered on 32W-inch and 37W-inch screens (LT-37X987 and LT-32X987, respectively).
Both models also employ a new speaker configuration, in which the speakers are located behind the lower portion of the screen, directing sound through a slot that runs the full width of the cabinet. Panel resolution is 1366 by 768 and image processing comes via fifth-generation Digital Image Scaling Technology (D.I.S.T).
More news on Clear Motion Drive when JVC launches the technology into the UK market later this year.
