Hotel Guests Can Try Latest Digital Gadgets – New York Times

Would you change your travel plans in order to stay at a hotel that allows you to play with the latest high-tech gadgets free of charge? In the US, these incentives are just part of a new way for hotels to entice visitors and the likes of Sony, Hewlett-Packard and Fuji are keen help out, according to this story in the New York Times (click link above).

Sony has its available at certain Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, while Fuji offers guests at Rosewood Hotels a loan of its latest digital cameras. “It’s a real-world test drive of a camera,” proclaims Fujifilm’s Andy LaGuardia. “We are hopeful people will use these cameras, see how well they operate and choose to buy one.”
Coming to a Travelodge near you soon, free trials of the PlayStation 3! Well, maybe not…
