Denon previews new kit including cheap DVD upscaler

Denon will launch no fewer than 12 new products at this week’s IFA show in Berlin, including an upscaling disc player, the DVD-1730 (pictured above) which will sell for just 150 UK pounds.
All will go on sale in the UK during September and October. The collection includes four new AV receivers (the AVR-2307 at 600 pounds, the AVR-1907 at 400 pounds, the AVR-1707 at 300 pounds and the AVR-1507 at 250 pounds) alongside four DVD players offering up-scaling to 1080i (the DVD-3930 at 1,100 pounds, the DVD-2930 at 650 pounds, the DVD-1930 at 250 pounds and the aforementioned DVD-1730 at 150 pounds).
Also in the range is a 370 quid hi-fi receiver with DAB, DAB micro systems from 400 pounds and a hard drive enabled, networkable micro-system from 850 pounds.
