Sharp to introduce twin-tuner Freeview PVR

September 26th, 2006 · No Comments

Sharp will launch a twin-tuner Freeview PVR in time for Christmas. Its new slim-line TU-R160H features a 160GB hard drive able to store approximately 80 hours of programmes.
Features include an 8-day EPG, Chasing Playback functionality, subtitle recording and PIP. Ning Ning Cheang, the brand’s recording media product manager, says the model runs more quietly than its competitors because it has no need for an internal cooling fan.
The TU-R160H will sell for approximately 250 pounds.
