While some UK pre-order sites are claiming supplies of Nintendo’s Wii games console will be limited, the message coming out of the company is that stock will be plentiful. As evidence, Nintendo’s vice president and general manager for Nintendo of Canada, Ron Bertram, says that North America will see a million units available for the system’s November 19 roll-out.
Bertram says the introduction will be Nintendo’s biggest in 15 years.
UK general manager David Yarnton has similarly declared that the UK will see more launch stock than the company’s ever seen before, when the system ships on December 8, priced at 179 pounds.
