LG knocks Panasonic off top of plasma sales chart

The plasma TV market bloomed again during the third quarter. PDP shipments shipments increased 17 percent sequentially and 47 percent year-to-year, according to new data from market research outfit DisplaySearch.

Panasonic AV sales rise despite increased competition

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd., parent of Panasonic, has posted strong figures despite growing international competition, in its half-year financials.

1080p playback in latest Xbox 360 update
