Hitachi has now confirmed that John Conlon, currently General Manager at Hitachi Digital Media, Maidenhead, has been appointed the Executive Director of its new flat panel factory in the Czech Republic. The operation, which represents a massive investment in the European plasma and LCD market, will begin production in the Summer of 2007.
