Toshiba looks likely to pour the misery on Sony. Reports indicate that the Corporation may seek compensation following the huge recall of potentially defective Sony-made lithium-ion batteries used in its laptop computers.
Sony has already agreed to pick up the re-call costs, but Toshiba believes its reputation may also have been damaged. Such a move could open the floodgates to Sony’s other battery customers, including Apple.
