iPod to get in-flight connectivity

November 17th, 2006 · No Comments

Apple has inked a deal with six airlines to allow iPod owners to watch in-flight movies on their screens. Air France, Emirates, United, Continental, Delta, and KLM will begin to offer iPod connectivity on flights from mid-2007. In addition to watching video material, owners will also get their players recharged during the flight.
To date, more than 67million iPods have been sold since its introduction in 2001.
