Panasonic says plasma screen burn problem eliminated

Speaking at a US press conference, Panasonic says that changes made in order to remove lead from its plasma manufacturing process have led to improvements in the performance of its panels. In addition to better colour fidelity, the screens can now run for 60,000 hours before reaching half brightness and the problem of screen burn has been “virtually eliminated.”
