AACS body confirms copyright breach

The Advanced Access Content System License Administrator (AACS LA), the body which regulates the advanced copy protection used by and , has confirmed that so-called title keys have been stolen and used to decrypt HD packaged media. However the organsisation maintains that the AACS system has not been compromised. A spokesman said that the breach only indicated an attack on players sold by AACS licensed consumer electronics manufacturers.
