YouTube to stream classic US TV shows

February 14th, 2007 · No Comments

YouTube continues to square up against traditional broadcaster media. The website has inked a deal with the US archive Digital Music Group to offer up to 4000 hours of classic (aka ancient) TV programming.
Lined up are golden oldies like My Favorite Martian and I Spy. Revenues will come from in-programme advertising. The website has also signed content deals with Warner Music Group, Sony BMG and Universal.
