Denon to launch advanced network receiver range

will shortly announce a range of highly networkable AV-centric products for 2007. The rollout marks a dramatic new direction for the brand. The next generation receivers will be targeted at both the consumer and the custom install industry. Jeff Talmadge, Denon US product development and systems integration director, says that the move is part of the company’s ‘strategic product direction’ which aims to place the AV receiver at the heart of the connected network home. He says the hope is to create a component that allows users to “do whatever they want with whatever they want and move the content to wherever they want to go.” Promised are advanced connectivity options, the latest HD audio codecs and simple setup
