PS3 cannot win console race say experts

Market research firm Nollenberger Capital Partners estimates that Sony will sell 500,000 to 700,000 European s at launch, down significantly from Sony’s original forecast of one million consoles. Further gloomy news for the PS3 camp comes from US research outfit J.P. Morgan. It predicts that Sony is destined to come second in the next gen games console race, selling around 65 million units during the PS3’s lifecycle compare to 100 million s. It says the will plateau at 45 million units, coming third.
