Toshiba revenues hits record high

HD DVD-inventor Toshiba has announced report profits for its 2006 fiscal year. Annual sales hit 7.16 trillion Yen, while its operating profit totaled 258 billion Yen. The brand’s semiconductor business jumped 25 per cent, despite an overall fall in price for memory devices, and is responsible for around half of the company’s profit.

Microsoft pays high price for Zune and Xbox

ITV joins BBC to create free HDTV satellite service

Hitachi sues LG over plasma patents
