UK Blu-ray prices slashed for Easter

April 7th, 2007 · No Comments

The cost of Blu-ray came crashing down this weekend as DSG slashed the price of the Samsung BDP-1000 player to just 350 pounds. The dramatic price-cut puts the 1080p BD machine head to head with Toshiba’s recently reduced 1080i format HD-E1. The limited offer runs through Easter Monday, at all branches of Currys, Currys.digital and online at currys.co.uk.
Visitors to currys sister-site dixons.co.uk can take part in a virtual Easter Egg hunt to win a PS3 and other tech-goodies. Players are invited to find half-a-dozen hidden eggs, which will enable them to claim a Sony PS3, Tom Tom Satellite Navigation System or Apple iPod.
To ‘Crack the Code’ all website visitors need to do is solve the product related clues and follow the instructions which will lead them to find the hidden eggs.
