Sony pulls 20GB PlayStation 3

Sony sees no future in its 20GB version of its . The company has pulled the model from the US market, conceding that demand was limited. The smaller HDD model, which also lacks HDMI connectivity and wi-fi, has had a checkered reception and is currently only available in Japan. “Due to the overwhelming demand for the 60GB model from both retailers and consumers, we have ceased offering the 20GB model here in North America,” explained Sony’s senior director of corporate communications Dave Karraker.
