In an effort to kick-start sales, Sony is cutting the price of its PSP to 129.99 pounds (169.99 Euros) from May 4. Its Platinum range of PSP software titles will also drop to 14.99 pounds. According to SCE UK boss Ray Maguire, the arrival of the PlayStation 3 makes the PSP “more relevant than ever.”
He adds, “the PSP is unique and constantly evolving. It offers the widest palette of mobile entertainment, from gaming to video, music, photos and Internet.”
So when are you announcing the PS3 price cut, Ray?
