LCD price erosion coming to an end says Samsung

panel prices are stabilizing, and even rising in some cases, marking an about turn in the fortunes of the flat-panel business. So believes Samsung Electronics LCD boss Lee Sang-wan. Speaking at the first meeting of the newly formed Korea Display Industry Association (KDIA), he announced that price increases where stemming from cuts in production and supply from the volume panel makers.
Of the KDIA, Lee Sang-wan said: “Korean display manufacturers have been reluctant to get along together amid stiff competition, and unofficial gathering might cause suspicions of price-fixing, but we will carve out the future of the industry through official gatherings of the association.”

    prices go up and sales will go down.

    or people will go for plasma. go on lcd makers , do you feel lucky
