It looks like the AV calendar has a new must-visit show. Hometech Middle East, which recently concluded in Dubai, has been given a rousing thumbs up by visitors. Thanks to the involvement of the CEA (responsible for the CES) and Messe Frankfurt, the show hosted 230 companies, making it the largest consumer electronics show in the UAE. Following the positive vibe, look for this event to grow in stature during 2008.
