Sharp to launch all-format HD laptop drive

The popularity of combi HD DVD Blu-ray drives for laptop PCs looks likely to increase, following reports that Sharp will introduce an affordable dual-format drive this summer. The unit can play CD, DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray media and is likely to retail for just 100 dollars, when it makes its debut in June.
