Microsoft opens its Mediaroom

Microsoft has renamed its much criticized IPTV middleware. The technology will now be known as Microsoft Mediaroom. The software has been revised to promote the sharing of media files across a home network, as well as offer dynamic MultiView (multi-PIP) and advanced digital TV management.
