Games makers shift focus to Wii, downplay PS3

Three of Japan’s biggest video games makers, Sega, Namco Bandai and Capcom, admit that they are now prioritizing games development for Nintendo’s , over Sony’s . Namco alone says it will increase its support for the Wii by more than 80 per cent. The big attraction is not only the higher volume of games being shipped for the Nintendo console, but the lower development costs attributed to the Wii’s simpler design.
