LG wins EISA Awards for combi Blu-ray HD DVD player

LG has won three 2007 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards. The most significant is for ‘European HD Player 2007-2008’, for its LG Super Blu BH100 combi-player, the world’s first HD deck compatible with video playback of both and discs. The company also won trophies for ‘European Compact System 2007-2008’, and ‘European Personal Media Player 2007-2008.’
“We are delighted that we have once again been honored by such an outstanding organization, with so much credibility in Europe and around the world,” said B.B. Hwang, President and CEO of Digital Media Company, LG Electronics. “LG will continue to meet the needs of our sophisticated European customers by creating products that are technologically advanced, and also designed to be emotionally appealing.”
