Sharp to introduce touchscreen LCD TV

September 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Sharp will introduce a radical new Aquos LCD TV with touchscreen features in Japan next spring. Not only will the model allow touchscreen control, the set will also use its embedded optical sensors to scan documents when they are placed upon the screen. This LCD TV touchscreen technology was not seen at last week’s IFA tech showcase. Instead Sharp used the event to unveil its slimline XL2E 1080p series, which promise 10,000:1 contrast and three HDMIs.
