LG is stepping back from the small-screen LCD TV market in Europe. As part of a restructure, the company will concentrate on making only screens larger than 30-inches. Instead it will source smaller screens from other suppliers for sale under the LG brand. Head of LG’s Polish production facility Yoon Byung-do has confirmed that the company will cease production of unprofitable screens. Currently lined up to supply smaller screens for the brand are BenQ and Daewoo.
