Sim2 wows visitors at London Sound and Vision Show

September 22nd, 2007 · No Comments

A spectacular demonstration of and kicked off the London Sound and Vision Show 07, which runs over the weekend (September 22-23) at the Park Inn Hotel, Bath Road, near London’s Heathrow Airport. The demonstration, in the Home Cinema Choice Hi-Def Experience suite, represents the first UK public performance of Sim2’s three-chip DLP 1080p projector, the C3X 1080. The demonstration is designed to show just what the new hi-def formats can deliver, explain Sim2’s UK managing director Alan Roser. “We’re not here saying one is better than the other, we want the audience to come to their own conclusion about the merits of each format.”
The HCC hi-def cinema seats forty people, with shows every half hour. The surround sound system is provided by KEF and Arcam. Other LSAV07 highlights include Panasonic’s 103inch plasma screen and the latest range of -branded plasma TVs from Pioneer.
