According to a new consumer survey from J.D. Power & Associates, Sony Samsung and Pioneer are the three highest-rated HDTV brands in America. The report, 2007 Large Screen HDTV Usage and Satisfaction Study, reveals a surprisingly-high level of consumer satisfaction with hi-def TVs amongst users. Over 90 per cent say they would buy the same brand HD TV as the one they already own, and would recommend that brand to friends. Sony was rated the best LCD TV maker (with LG placing a high second), Samsung the best DLP rear projection brand with Pioneer top for plasma.
