To mark the console’s seventh anniversary, Sony has announced it will ship a limited edition ceramic white version for the holiday season. The model will sell for 150 dollars in the US, but a European release has not been confirmed. Since its launch in 2000, the PS2 has sold a staggering 120 million units, ensuring a steady flow of new games. Sony says that it is fully committed to a ten-year product cycle for the console, which will guarantee availability until at least 2010.
