PS3 closing in on Wii, driven by price cuts

The is in stealth mode and closing in on the unsuspecting . At least that’s how it appears from the latest set of monthly Japanese retail figures. Although the Wii is still comfortably the most in-demand games system, the gap between the two consoles is closing.
During October, Nintendo sold 110,415 Wii consoles, while Sony shifted 47,183 PS3s. Price cuts and an improved game library are helping drive Sony’s sales.
