Samsung remains the world’s biggest supplier of LCD TVs. In its latest monthly market tally, Display Search reveals that the Korean company was once again first in the global TV market in both volume and sales. Samsung also leads the global LCD TV market, with an 18.4 market share. Sony was ranked second biggest volume supplier of LCD, followed by Sharp. In plasma, the company trails a dominant Panasonic. Samsung has 21.3 per cent of the PDP volume market compared to Panasonic’s 32.9 per cent.
