Warner muggles red-faced over HD disc error

December 13th, 2007 · No Comments

For some Warner executives, a switch to supporting a single hi-def format can’t come soon enough. The company is currently facing the ire of Harry fans who have discovered that their Potter movie sets feature a film that has somehow magically transformed into an platter. The HD mix-up affects the fourth film in the set, The Goblet of Fire. It’s not clear how many sets have been affected, but red-faced suits have apologized and promised redress.
Warner is widely expected to announce support for a single HD format during the January CES.
