DLP projection specialist Sim2 found A-list support for the US launch of its 3-chip Grand Cinema C3X 1080 projector. Acclaimed filmmaker David (Blue Velvet) Lynch came forward to endorse the product, saying: “I am a perfectionist. When I was searching for a projector for my studio, I tested many brands. SIM2 beat them all by many, many miles.”
He added: “this SIM2 three-chip projector is beautiful; its image looks pristine on the screen.”
During the press event Lynch also eulogized digital cinema saying “digital is the future of cinema, and is better in every way.”
