In an unexpected move, CEDIA (the custom installation trade body) has announced that it will exhibit at the upcoming Macworld event in the US. The organization which usually only presents to the trade, says its debut at the Apple love-in will be “a great opportunity to showcase and demonstrate how CEDIA members are using new technology to create homes that are sophisticated and offer the best in home electronics.”
Senior technology director Dave Pedigo adds: “We look forward to informing the Apple world on how CEDIA professionals can integrate those products into their homes.”
Macworld runs between January. 15-18, at the Moscone Center, San Francisco.
