When the first movies from the James Bond back catalogue are released on Blu-ray this autumn, they’ll come with a secret ingredient: free tickets to see Bond 22, aka Quantum Of Solace. The first two box sets, which comprise hi-def versions of Dr. No, Die Another Day, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia With Love and Thunderball, will tempt American buyers with two movie vouchers. A single ticket will be included with the individual movie releases.
Could such co-promotions be the start of a trend? And if so will it extend to the UK? The discs street in the US on October 21. Only the first wave will have the vouchers.
