Newsarama.com : Disney Brings X-Men Animated Series to DVD

This classic X-men animation is coming to DVD

Talk about weird and wonderful team-ups. The Saban/Fox animated version of The X-Men has been acquired by Disney and is due out on R1 DVD April 28. The long-running show, which made its debut in ‘92 and lasted five years, is the most authentic of all the adaptations of Marvel’s merry mutants and features some first-rate adaptations of classic X-comic arcs in its run, including Days of Future Past and The Dark Phoenix Saga. Rather than release by season, Disney is putting the show out in volumes; the first two double-disc packs will run for 368 and 391 minutes respectively. Get your pre-orders in now.
