Disney sells 1.3 million movies online

Disney’s Stateside flirtation with iTunes has paid off big time. The Mouse House reports that it has sold 1.3 million downloads via Apple’s online store since October. It has also shifted 20 million TV episodes, principally from Lost and Desperate Housewives.

Korea invests millions to recreate dead actors

The South Korean Government is investing upwards of 15 million US dollars into a CGI research and development project that could see the likeness of dead actors return to the big screen.
