Sling Media to let users boost net speed
Remote TV viewing specialists Sling Media, best know for the Slingbox system, says it will improve the performance of its service with a software enhancement later this year to increase internet speeds. It’s now a well worn debate - which is better: Plasma or LCD? According to new research, however, it’s no contest. Plasma is the viewers choice when viewed side-by-side with LCD. International research group Synovate tested 344 consumers and discovered that 69 per cent preferred the overall image of plasma when compared to the same sized LCD TV.
